Originals Poster 1983

Paul Marshal began his radio career in 1979 at Radio Aldershot in the west end of Burlington. Amidst hundreds of silver Ban aerosol caps glued to the wall, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top, Triumph and Teenage Head were always on the playlist. From the late 70’s to the mid 80’s, Paul played in several southern Ontario bands including the Burlington Teen Tour Band, The Originals, the MMR Dixieland Band, The Decoy and Forever Endeavor. He signed a record deal with Black Sheep Records in 1985, but ultimately decided to pursue a career in radio broadcasting.
